So it's May which means for a lot people my age it's exam time so like many others I've been stressing over revision. Therefore I thought I'd take a break from revising and do another blog post today to tell the world a little more about me, I thought I'd do this by doing a '50 Facts About Me' post, so here's some weird, random facts about me, enjoy :-)
1.When I was younger I used to pronounce the Disney films Pinocchio as 'pokey-nokey-o' and Pocahontas as 'po-ka-ka-hun-tee-as' I was clearly rubbish at reading and pronouncing my words as a child :-P
2. I'm very much a savoury food person, this is going to sound crazy but I'm not overly fussed about chocolate:-O
3.I used to play steel band in primary school and even got an award for music on my last day of primary school in year 6 (5th grade), but I am no means talented at music :-P
4.If I see a spider I will most likely cry or just freeze in a panic
5.Turquoise is my favourite colour
6.I am a bit too obsessed with E! channel
7.Lemons, ginger and marzipan are the most disgusting foods in my opinion
8.My Initials are ESS; Emma Samantha Slater
9.I love hello kitty, so much so, my childhood best friend who loves tattoos got a hello kitty tattoo with the initial E on it, just for me!
10.The thought of dying scares me so much!
11.I prefer dogs to cats
12.Singing loudly (and badly) whilst driving on the motorway is one of my favourite things about driving
13.When I was 3 I was in hospital for 3 months due to having a tumour on my left hip
14.I have a coffee addiction, if I don't have a coffee at least once a day I start to get a little tetchy
15.I'm definitely a royalist, I love the Royal family and all their history
16.My favourite school subjects were History and English
17.I love seafood, mussels are my favourite!
18.Cheese and Pickle is my favourite sandwich filling
19.Im currently 19 years old and it's my birthday on August 12th :-)
20.I have green eyes but my right eye is half brown, weird huh?
21.I broke my thumb the first time I ever went skiing
22.I'm quite clumsy, my dad always makes fun of me for how clumsy I am
23. My door number is 23
24.I am the only granddaughter on my mum's side of the family
25.August is my favourite month (as it's when my birthday is :-P)
26.Dr.Pepper is my favourite fizzy drink and Pina Colada is my favourite cocktail
27.I love watching vlogs on youtube
28. 3 is my lucky number
29.I have an older brother called Mark and a younger brother called Ayden
30.I love spending time with my friends whether it's for a night out or just a relaxing night in laughing and watching films
31.My dad has had dinner with Johnny Depp and has personally met loads of hollywood actors whilst working on film sets with them as a fireman (I'm VERY jealous!!!)
32.I really can't stand the sound of a McDonalds straw being put into the plastic cup lid thing, the sound it makes really makes me shiver
33.I am allergic to apples
34.I LOVE people playing with my hair, I find it incredibly relaxing
35.I am really rubbish at foreign languages, all I can do is speak minimal French and can count to 10 in Welsh, yeah not that useful really
36.I love going to the theatre, especially to see musicals in the West End in London
37.Naps are my guilty pleasure, yes I know I'm not 80 but I do love a good nap!
38.My favourite flavour of crisps is prawn cocktail
39.I could probably live off cheese and potatoes, they're my favourite foods
40.I suffer quite badly from hay fever, my tablets are a life saver!
41.I hate not having my nails painted and it really sucks I can't wear nail varnish to work
42.My 2 favourite perfumes are; 'Miss Dior Cherie' and 'Dolce and Gabbana The One'
43.My favourite restaurant is T.G.I Fridays
44.I don't like really spicy food, I really am a whimp that can't handle a little bit of spice in my food!
45.My ultimate favourite film is Moulin Rouge and I'm a sucker for rom coms, especially those staring Channing Tatum ;-)
46.I think Johnny Depp is pretty yummy for a guy who's nearly fifty!
47.There's nothing on a cold night that I love more than having a nice relaxing bubble bath with candles whilst watching tv on my iPad then putting on cosy pyjamas and getting into clean bed sheets, that just sounds perfect to me :-)
48.I always sing in the shower (even if my friends are in the other room)
49.My favourite thing to do in the world is just have a good old laugh with friends and family, sounds so cheesy but I really do love being with good company having a good time! :-)
50.Although I do tend to make a mess, I'm a very clean, house proud person, I hate it if the house is a mess and I can't just tidy my own room, I like to tidy the whole house in order to feel fully satisfied.
